The Second Shenzhen Brand Week

In accordance with the State Council's "Opinions on Playing a Leading Role in Brand Building and Promoting the Upgrading of Supply and Demand Structure" (Guobanfa [2016] No. 44), and with the approval of Shenzhen municipal government, Federation of Shenzhen Industries (hereinafter referred to as FSZI) allied with Shenzhen ten districts government initiated the pioneering event of the first Shenzhen Brand Week, themed on Brand Leading & Quality Creating. On 2017 April 24th, the State Council released document on approval of every May 10th to be the Chinese Brands Day, The First Shenzhen International Brand Week Became a tribute to Chinese Brands Day.
Guided by the socialist ideology of Chinese characteristics under the new era of Xi Jinping, the B&R initiative has opened the window of global cooperation opportunities for mutual benefit. More and more Chinese enterprises are deepening their business layout in countries along the route, and a series of major projects have been launched to promote economic development in B&R countries. A large number of high-quality “Made in China” products and Chinese brands have been settled, and China new image of quality has been created.
The successive municipal governments attached great importance to brand building, and repeatedly issued instructions to FSZI as for brand building work. Secretary Wang Weizhong fully affirmed the practice of Shenzhen Top Brand on Shenzhen Quality Conference in September 2017: last 14 years, we have 682 brands has been awarded Shenzhen Top Brand, which is a manifestation of the comprehensive competitiveness of the city. We must unswervingly lead the development of the city with quality, cultivate more Shenzhen Top Brand winners, and make it a synonym for high quality. The Ninth Plenary Session of Shenzhen Municipal Committee regards “unswervingly build more era - leading Shenzhen brands” as a major strategic task in pioneering the construction of socialist modernization.
In order to effectively implement the guiding ideology of the Nineteenth Party Congress: unswervingly build more era - leading Shenzhen brands, and requirements of Shenzhen Economic and Trade Information Technology [2018] No. 13, FSZI held the second Shenzhen Brand Week from May 9th to 15th, collaborated with ten districts government (or new district management committee) and related organizations, themed with Focusing on B&R Initiative, to Co-build City Brands. The events promote international cooperation and enhance the quality of economic development.
